Manager – Employee Relations

This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the employee relations function and ensuring consistent implementation of HR policies, labor law compliance, and fair workplace practices.

The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to management and employees, playing a critical role in maintaining a positive organizational environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the employee relations framework across the organization
  • Handle grievances, disciplinary matters, and workplace conflict resolution
  • Conduct thorough and impartial HR investigations
  • Ensure compliance with UAE labour laws and regulatory standards
  • Advise management on employee relations risks and best practices
  • Promote transparency, fairness, and ethical conduct
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information
  • Support policy development and continuous HR process improvement

Qualifications & Experience Requirements

Candidates applying for the Manager – Employee Relations role must meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related discipline
  • Professional HR certifications are an added advantage
  • Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in:
    • Employee relations
    • Grievance handling
    • HR investigations
  • Strong and proven understanding of UAE labour law and employment regulations
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken)
  • Arabic language proficiency is preferred
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality
