The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs), under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India, have released the official notification for Group D (Level-1) Recruitment 2026 through Centralised Employment Notification (CEN) No. 09/2025. This recruitment aims to fill 22,195 vacancies in various units of Indian Railways. Candidates with 10th pass / ITI / Apprenticeship qualifications are eligible to apply online.

- 10th Pass (Matriculation) from a recognised board OR
- ITI from institutions recognised by NCVT / SCVT OR

Age Limit
- Age: 18 to 33 years (as on 01 January 2026)
- Age Relaxation:
- OBC (NCL): 3 years
- SC / ST: 5 years
- PwBD: Up to 15 years (as per category)

Salary Details
- Pay Level: Level-1
- Initial Pay: ₹18,000 per month
- DA, HRA, TA and other allowances as per Railway rules
Selection Procedure
- Stage 1 – Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Subjects: Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Science, General Awareness
- Negative Marking: 1/3rd mark for each wrong answer
- Stage 2 – Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Male & Female candidates have different PET standards
- Stage 3 – Document Verification
- Stage 4 – Medical Examination
