Educational Qualifications
- GM (Operations & Maintenance): IRSSE/IRSEE/IRSME Officers or B.E/B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical Engineering from recognized university.
- GM / Chief Engineer (Signalling & Telecom): B.E/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or Electronics & Communication Engineering or serving/retired IRSSE officers.
Experience Required
- Minimum 20 years post qualification experience.
- At least 12 years in executive/managerial cadre in Railways / Rail PSUs / Metro Rail Corporations.
- Experience in signalling, rolling stock, operations, contract management or metro project execution preferred.
Age Limit
- GM (Operations & Maintenance): Maximum 55 Years (as on 01 April 2026).
- GM (Signalling & Telecom): Maximum 55 Years.
- Chief Engineer (Re-employment): 56 – 62 Years.
Salary Details
- Regular GM Pay Scale: ₹1,20,000 – ₹2,80,000 (IDA).
- Chief Engineer (Re-employment): ₹1,70,000 per month.
- Deputation posts: As per parent organisation rules.
