Customs Clearance Manager
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
The Customs Clearance Manager will oversee all inbound and outbound customs clearance activities, ensuring shipments move efficiently through Saudi ports while maintaining full regulatory compliance.
This role plays a critical part in airport operations and coordination with customs authorities.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Supervising customs clearance operations at air, sea, and land ports
- Ensuring timely release of inbound and outbound shipments
- Coordinating with the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA)
- Liaising with airport authorities, airlines, and freight forwarders
- Reviewing and approving customs documentation and electronic declarations
- Managing customs processes through the FASAH platform
- Leading and supervising the customs clearance team
- Assigning daily tasks and monitoring staff performance
- Resolving customs remarks, penalties, or violations
- Implementing corrective and preventive actions
Qualifications and Skills Required
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Saudi nationality is mandatory
- Minimum 5 years of customs clearance experience within Saudi Arabia
- Strong working knowledge of Saudi Customs regulations
- Proven experience using the FASAH customs platform
- Good command of English (spoken and written)
- Excellent leadership and people-management skills
- Strong organizational and analytical abilities
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced logistics environment
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to compliance and accuracy
