Key competencies include a strong understanding of the Companies Act and SEBI regulations, particularly those related to disclosure, governance, and compliance. Familiarity with compliance tracking systems and international regulatory frameworks is essential, especially given IndiGo’s overseas operations. Key Responsibilities in Corporate Secretarial Operations

The Senior Executive is responsible for drafting agendas, minutes, and supporting documentation for Board and Committee meetings, ensuring accuracy and regulatory alignment. Preparing and filing ROC forms in a timely and compliant manner is a core responsibility.

The role also supports the incorporation of overseas branches and ensures adherence to international compliance requirements. Operating the compliance management tool and assisting in quarterly compliance reporting forms an important part of governance oversight.

Additional responsibilities include assisting in activities related to dividend declarations, responding to shareholder queries and grievances, and managing compliances related to share transfers and unclaimed dividends, including transfers to the IEPF. The role further supports compliance with SEBI Prohibition of Insider Trading Regulations, ensuring strong internal controls and ethical conduct.
