We are now hiring Cargo Agents for Import Operations in Dubai. This role involves hands-on cargo handling, documentation, customer service and equipment operation to ensure safe and efficient movement of cargo.

Job Summary & Key Responsibilities
The Cargo Agent will support import cargo operations by performing documentation, physical handling and coordination tasks. Typical responsibilities include:
- Follow departmental procedures, SOPs and safety policies to ensure consistent, controlled operations.
- Perform daily cargo handling tasks including acceptance, breakdown, build-up, delivery and documentation.
- Inspect and validate shipments at each stage (acceptance, breakdown, dispatch) and ensure counts match paperwork.
- Enter cargo data accurately and in a timely manner into cargo systems.
- Coordinate with government authorities (Customs, Health, etc.) to clear imports efficiently.
- Handle special cargo types (dangerous goods, live animals, valuables) following IATA regulations and company procedures.
- Operate ground equipment as required (tow trucks, forklifts) to move ULDs, pallets and containers.
- Assist and guide loaders and equipment operators to complete safe and timely movements.
Job Requirements
To be considered you should meet the following minimum requirements:
- Education: O Level (10 years schooling) or Higher Secondary (12 years) is required.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in logistics or cargo operations.
- Good written and spoken English for documentation and coordination.
- Valid UAE or GCC licence for operating cargo handling equipment (forklift, tow tractor) is preferred.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks safely.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to enter data accurately into systems.
- Attention to detail, safety awareness and a team-oriented attitude.
