Key Responsibilities

  • Budgeting & Forecasting (FP&A)
  • Lead annual budgeting and monthly rolling forecasts (P&L & Cash Flow)
  • Perform variance analysis with actionable insights
  • Develop retail driver-based financial models (NOB, ATV, GP%, Shrinkage, Labor%)
  • Publish weekly flash reports and management dashboards
  • Support pricing strategy, promotions, and store performance analysis
  • Conduct scenario planning (Base / Optimistic / Conservative)
  • Credit Control & Receivables
  • Manage credit policy, onboarding, and DSO monitoring
  • Lead collections, aging reviews, and cash flow discussions
  • Ensure VAT-compliant invoicing and dispute resolution
  • Prepare ECL provisions (IFRS 9) and bad-debt recommendations
  • Process & Compliance
  • Strengthen SOPs and internal financial controls
  • Support VAT and Corporate Tax compliance
  • Train operational teams on finance KPIs

Requirements

  • CA / ACCA / CMA (or finalist)
  • 5–10 years of Retail/CPG finance experience (FP&A + AR/Credit Control)
  • Advanced Excel & financial modeling skills
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS (including IFRS 9 basics) and UAE VAT
  • Corporate Tax exposure is an advantage
