Key Responsibilities
- Budgeting & Forecasting (FP&A)
- Lead annual budgeting and monthly rolling forecasts (P&L & Cash Flow)
- Perform variance analysis with actionable insights
- Develop retail driver-based financial models (NOB, ATV, GP%, Shrinkage, Labor%)
- Publish weekly flash reports and management dashboards
- Support pricing strategy, promotions, and store performance analysis
- Conduct scenario planning (Base / Optimistic / Conservative)
- Credit Control & Receivables
- Manage credit policy, onboarding, and DSO monitoring
- Lead collections, aging reviews, and cash flow discussions
- Ensure VAT-compliant invoicing and dispute resolution
- Prepare ECL provisions (IFRS 9) and bad-debt recommendations
- Process & Compliance
- Strengthen SOPs and internal financial controls
- Support VAT and Corporate Tax compliance
- Train operational teams on finance KPIs
Requirements
- CA / ACCA / CMA (or finalist)
- 5–10 years of Retail/CPG finance experience (FP&A + AR/Credit Control)
- Advanced Excel & financial modeling skills
- Strong knowledge of IFRS (including IFRS 9 basics) and UAE VAT
- Corporate Tax exposure is an advantage
