The Scheduled Caste Development Department (SCDD), Kerala has released an official notification for the temporary appointment of Vijnjanavadi Coordinators in Vijnjanavadi centres functioning under the department. A total of 200 vacancies are available across various districts in Kerala. The recruitment aims to strengthen the functioning of Vijnjanavadis and improve educational and career opportunities for Scheduled Caste students.

Educational Qualifications

  • Candidate must belong to Scheduled Caste category
  • Degree from a recognized university
  • Computer proficiency is mandatory

Age Limit

  • Minimum Age: 21 Years
  • Maximum Age: 45 Years

Salary Details

  • Monthly Honorarium: ₹8,000
  • Contract Period: 1 Year
  • Nature of Appointment: Temporary on contract basis

Working Hours

  • Regular Days: 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM
  • Saturdays & Holidays: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Monday is weekly holiday

Selection Procedure

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize coaching classes and study circles
  • Conduct remedial tuition and career guidance sessions
  • Coordinate library activities and digital learning initiatives
  • Organize competitions, workshops, and youth development programs
  • Maintain proper records and supervise Vijnjanavadi activities

Training

Selected candidates will undergo a state-level orientation program conducted by the department.
