Job Role Overview
the Painter is responsible for carrying out all painting activities related to buildings, structures, fixtures, and equipment. Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be expected to:
- Provide accurate estimates for required time, materials, and costs, and advise supervisors accordingly
- Coordinate with the Procurement team to source approved paints, coatings, and tools
- Prepare job sites by erecting scaffolding, protecting fixtures, and securing work areas
- Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, removing old paint, and performing necessary repairs
- Fill cracks, holes, and surface defects using plaster, filler, or other suitable materials
- Mix paints and coatings to achieve required colors, textures, and finishes
- Apply paint using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
- Apply varnishes, sealants, and protective coatings when required
- Ensure compliance with ADA procedures, internal policies, SOPs, and safety guidelines
- Follow health, safety, and environmental regulations as per the Company Safety Management System
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
- Carry out additional duties as assigned by the supervisor
Experience and Profile Requirements
To qualify for this Painter job, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- High School Diploma or GED (mandatory)
- Proven experience as a professional painter (commercial, industrial, or construction painting preferred)
