The Assistant Store Manager role is a vital leadership position encompassing Customer Focus, Sales and Commercial Profit, Shop Keeping and Store Standards, and People Management.
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate must demonstrate comprehensive retail management expertise across all areas of store operations:
Key Accountabilities:
- Customer Focus: Implements a high standard of customer focus, regularly assessing service standards and ensuring timely resolution of complaints/queries. Must ensure customer needs are met and never say “No” to a customer.
- Sales and Profit: Achieve store revenue targets and target productivity metrics (sales per person per day). Monitor and control expenses (overtime, local, stock, and consumables).
