- Warehouse Manager – Luxury Goods Logistics (Sydney, Australia)
Job Responsibilities
- Manage warehouse operations including receiving, storing, picking, and packing activities
- Maintain accurate inventory control through cycle counts, audits, and WMS
- Ensure security protocols for high-value items and safety compliance
- Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff
- Coordinate shipments with clients, suppliers, and transport partners
- Improve warehouse processes and implement KPIs
- Prepare budgets, reports, and performance records
- Oversee equipment maintenance and ensure operational safety
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5–7 years of warehouse management experience, ideally in luxury or high-value goods
- 2–5 years in a supervisory or management role
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of Warehouse Management Software
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of compliance, health & safety, and warehousing legislation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment and perform physical tasks when needed
- Forklift license may be required
- Preferred: Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field
- Industry certifications such as CSCP or CPIM are an advantage
