Job Purpose & Main Responsibilities
This role combines sales, customer service, ticketing and cargo support:
- Provide the highest standard of customer service to sell Emirates products and cargo solutions.
- Issue tickets and advise customers on fares, travel rules, passport/visa/health requirements and check-in details.
- Promote related products and services such as Skywards, Dubai stopovers, hotel bookings and higher fare options to increase revenue.
- Support cargo customers from quotation through to reservation, and keep them updated on shipment status.
- Help keep counters and material up to date (timetables, brochures, promotional items).
- Assist with end-of-day sales closing and basic financial handling as required.
- Suggest improvements to processes and contribute ideas to help grow revenue and improve the customer experience.
Job Requirements
- Minimum education: 10 years of schooling or equivalent.
- Excellent interpersonal, telephone and customer service skills.
- Ability to work well in a busy sales team environment.
- Good PC skills (Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel and Email).
- Knowledge of contact centre procedures and airline industry standards is an advantage.
- Standard fares & ticketing courses and experience with reservation systems (MARS) are preferred.
- Arabic reading, writing or speaking ability is an advantage but not required.
- Willingness to work in Dubai and attend selection steps by the closing date.
