- Supply Chain & Logistics Officer
The Supply Chain & Logistics Officer will support the management of stock levels for in-flight services items, including catering supplies, retail products, and reading materials. The role focuses on maintaining inventory availability while controlling logistics costs and ensuring efficient supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will perform the following duties:
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels for in-flight service items
- Manage stock across multiple storage locations and distribution points
- Plan replenishment schedules and coordinate with suppliers
- Maintain updated item master data, including stock levels and order quantities
- Identify risks or shortages in stock forecasts and take corrective action
- Organize the introduction of new products in the supply chain system
- Publish forecasts to supply chain partners to ensure smooth logistics operations
- Monitor inventory performance against forecast and budget targets
- Prepare stock movement reports for designated zones
- Manage monthly excise tax reconciliation and claim processes
- Conduct audits to ensure accurate stock transactions in ERP systems

Qualification Requirements
Candidates applying for this position should meet the following requirements:
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification (12+3)
- Certification from APICS or CIPS is preferred
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain or logistics management
- Experience in airline catering or aviation logistics is an advantage
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of supply chain planning and forecasting systems
- Strong data analysis and inventory management skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Professional Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to analyse inventory data and forecast demand
- Understanding of supply chain escalation procedures and trigger points
Preferred certifications include CMA, CFA, APICS, or CIPS.
