We are recruiting for the following key role in the Procurement department:

  1. Storekeeper

The candidate will manage the day-to-day operations of the facilities store, maintaining inventory, assisting staff with the exchange of materials and purchases, and ensuring the smooth operation of the store.

Job Requirements

This technical and administrative role has specific experience and skill requirements:

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience: 7+ years of relevant experience in Supply Chain. (10 or more years of experience is preferred).
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or diploma in business or a related field is an advantage.
  • Industry Experience: Previous experience in retail or inventory management, preferably in a facilities or maintenance setting.
  • Technical Knowledge: Good technical knowledge (for maintenance and spare parts items).
  • Licensing: UAE driving license is required.

Skills and Training:

  • Inventory Management: Courses in space management, inventory management, and CMMS or CAFM systems are highly desirable.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in basic computer skills, including MS Office and inventory management software. Experience working with software, such as CAFM, to handle tasks is necessary.
  • Finance/Compliance: Budget management experience is an advantage. Must ensure compliance with all UAE regulations, including VAT compliance.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Able to remain calm and work under pressure, manage cash registers, and accurately handle transactions.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is an advantage.
  • Safety: Sound understanding and experience in meeting health and safety obligations regarding maintenance activities.
