Indian Air Force (IAF) has invited online applications from unmarried Indian male and female candidates for selection test for Agniveervayu Intake 01/2027 under the Agnipath Scheme. This recruitment provides an opportunity for young Indians to serve in the Air Force for a period of four years. The selection test will be conducted on 30 March 2026 and 31 March 2026. Educational Qualifications
For Science Subjects:
- Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent with Mathematics, Physics and English with minimum
50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English
from a recognised Board. - OR Three-year Diploma Course in Engineering
(Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile / Computer Science / Instrumentation / IT)
with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. - OR Two-year Vocational Course with non-vocational subjects
(Physics and Mathematics) with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
For Other Than Science Subjects:
- Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent in any stream with
50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. - OR Two-year Vocational Course with
50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
Note: Candidates eligible for Science Subjects are also eligible for
Other Than Science Subjects examination and may opt for both.
Age Limit
- Date of Birth: Candidates born between
01 January 2006 and 01 July 2009 (both dates inclusive). - Upper age limit at the time of enrolment: 21 years.
Marital Status
- Only unmarried male and female candidates are eligible.
- Candidates must undertake not to marry during the four-year engagement period.
- Female candidates must undertake not to become pregnant during the engagement period.
Salary & Benefits
- 1st Year: ₹30,000 per month
- 2nd Year: ₹33,000 per month
- 3rd Year: ₹36,500 per month
- 4th Year: ₹40,000 per month

- Seva Nidhi Package: Approx. ₹10.04 Lakhs after 4 years

- Phase-I – Online Test
- Science Subjects: Physics, Mathematics, English (60 minutes)
- Other Than Science Subjects: English + Reasoning & General Awareness (45 minutes)
- Both: Physics, Mathematics, English + RAGA (85 minutes)
- Marking: +1 for correct answer, −0.25 for wrong answer
