Position: Sports Turf Equipment Mechanic
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and adjustments on sports turf machinery including mowers, tractors, utility vehicles, and attachments.
- Carry out reel and bedknife grinding according to manufacturer standards to ensure precision cutting quality.
- Ensure proper calibration and operation of mowing and turf equipment for optimal turf health and playing conditions.
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults and implement cost-effective solutions.
- Maintain detailed service records, inspection checklists, and parts inventory logs.
Moreover, maintaining equipment performance and turf quality standards is a critical part of this role.
Qualifications & Requirements
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in sports turf or golf course machinery maintenance and repair.
- Strong knowledge of golf course and sports turf equipment.
- Hands-on experience in reel grinding and bedknife grinding.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Relevant technical qualifications preferred.
- GCC driving license is an advantage.
