Job Requirements
The ideal candidate should meet the following qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science or a related field (or equivalent).
- 7–10 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control within the food or water production industry.
- Mandatory certifications in ISO and HACCP; hands-on knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 22000 and related standards is a strong advantage.
- Experience with microbiological testing, auditing, corrective actions and complaint handling.
- Strong leadership, communication and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to quality improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and maintain the quality management system in line with ISO and HACCP requirements.
- Lead routine inspections, product testing and microbiological monitoring.
- Conduct internal audits, manage corrective actions and follow up on compliance gaps.
- Coordinate with production, maintenance and procurement to ensure product safety and consistency.
- Manage documentation, release procedures and traceability systems.
- Handle customer complaints, investigations and preventive actions.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on quality and hygiene practices.
